CLAIM: MICHAEL JACKSON WAS GAY

Award-winning freelance journalist and film-maker Ian Halperin claims to have interviewed two of Michael Jackson’s lovers, both of whom were men.

One of his gay lovers, a Hollywood waiter, said that Jackson showed interest in him when he served the singer, and slept with him the following night. “According to the waiter, Jackson fell in love,” writes Halperin in an article for the Daily Mail. The waiter allegedly stayed friends, maybe more, with Jackson until his death last week.

The other man, an aspiring actor, told Halperin that he saw Jackson in the middle of 2007 and had spent every night together during their affair. He also produced photographs of the two together and a witness. Others claim that they witnessed a “string of young men” visiting the singer’s house during the night, many staying overnight.

Halperin added that he had found no evidence that Jackson had molested young boys and that these claims were motivated by financial gain.

According to Halperin’s article, while the popstar stayed in Los Angeles on of his aides would sneak him off to a “grungy, rat-infested motel”. He was apparently often dressed as a woman to disguise his identity in order to meet a male construction worker he had fallen in love with.

The article also claims that Michael was terribly sick, and unaware that his comeback tour consisted of more than ten shows. It is believed that in the singer’s frail condition, he wouldn’t physically or mentally survive the 50-show tour. But under financial pressure he was forced to comply and agree to the tour.

The claim are made in the Halperin’s book, Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson.
