JOBURG PRIDE TO HOLD 2009 AGM

The Joburg Pride Board will be hosting its Annual General Meeting on Saturday 23 May 2009. The organisation said that all interested parties are welcome to attend.

According to a statement, the board will present a report-back on the successes and challenges of last year’s Joburg Pride, call for volunteers for sub-committees and discuss the way forward for the 2009 event.

Last year’s event was widely praised as being one of the best Joburg Pride events in recent years. The annual event is organised by a Section 21 not-for-profit company that relies on donations and sponsorships.
