CELEBRITY GOSSIP
Paris Hilton’s new boyfriend
We thought you might like to have a look at Miss Hilton’s newest flame – New York-based fashion model James Neate. We’ve sourced some very arty images from his modelling agency’s website for your perusal. If you’re interested, his vital stats are: height: 6’1″, chest: 40, waist: 31, eyes: blue, hair: brown. Could this be love? Do we see marriage and kids on the horizon. Somehow we don’t think so. While James’ star might be on the up by dating Paris, she’s been having a little trouble remaining the desirable socialite. Word is more and more people would rather Paris not attend their parties. The heiress has apparently been banned from another high-profile bash – the third in a month. She has been told not to attend the Esquire Show House event in LA according to The Sun, quoting an insider as saying that the organisers “don’t want her ‘type’ there”. Paris was also recently barred from the Gramercy Park Hotel and hot New York club Bungalow 8. At least she has a rather attractive shoulder to cry on…
Anatomy star comes out the closet
T.R. Knight, one of the stars of the popular television medical drama Grey’s Anatomy has come out the closet. T.R. Knight – who plays the oh-so-darn-cute Dr. George O’Malley – issued a statement to People magazine on Thursday spilling the beans: “I guess there have been a few questions about my sexuality, and I’d like to quiet any unnecessary rumours that may be out there,” said Knight. “While I prefer to keep my personal life private, I hope the fact that I’m gay isn’t the most interesting part of me,” he added. We always had a sneaky suspicion that he was part of the family! The revelation comes hot on the heels of the on-set fight between co-stars Isaiah Washington and Patrick Dempsey. The dispute allegedly started with the actors waiting on late cast members. Sources say that Isaiah made a comment along the lines of “I’m not your little faggot like… (Apparently referring to T.R. Knight)”. Patrick told Isaiah to “Pick on somebody your own size”, which enraged the actor who then grabbed Patrick by the throat and shoved him backwards. Tabloids say that Knight tried to break up the fight, with Isaiah storming off calling him a “bitch”. Very Desperate Housewives-cast fight! While McDreamy may not bat for our side, it’s reassuring to know he’s looking out for us.
Jonathan Rhys Myers flog perfume
It was announced a couple of months ago that Jonathan Rhys Myers – in our humble opinion one of the sexiest men in Hollywood – would be the new face of Swoon – a Hugo Boss’s fragrance. While the campaign featuring Jonathon officially only launches in December, images from the ads have appeared on the Net. Did someone say swoon? Hugo Boss certainly picked the right guy for the product. The actor, who boasts possibly the most-kissable lips in celebrity-land, was most recently seen in Mission Impossible III and the Woody Allen film MatchPoint (which we highly recommend).
Justin Launches Clothing Label
He’s not only an actor and singer, but now Justin Timberlake is trying to “bring fashion back”. The rather tasty star – basking in the warm glow of chart success with his new album – has just launched his own clothing label. He chose not to include the showing of his William Rast clothing line as part of LA Fashion Week, instead setting up a runway at the Social Hollywood nightclub on Sunset Boulevard. We’re unsure how much, if any, of the range he designed himself, but the men’s and women’s collections received a good reception. Of course, the night would not have been complete with a good gaggle of celebrities on hand: Patrick Dempsey, Paris Hilton, Nick Carter and former band-mates JC Chasez and Lance Bass – complete with his boyfriend Reichen Lehmkuhl.
Boy George: bitter old queen?
Boy George only seems to make headlines of late when he’s either fallen foul of the law or when he’s bitchily slating someone else. It’s been reported that in an upcoming Channel 4 documentary that will be screened in the UK, the former Culture Club lead-singer takes a swipe at Madonna. “Madonna… I just think she’s a vile, hideous human being with no redeeming qualities. There’s nothing nice about her. I’ve never heard anyone say anything nice about her at all. And anyone that’s ever met her she’s been vile to. Vile, full of herself – so unspiritual. How has this woman got away with it for so long?”, the style- deficient pseudo-star ranted. In the documentary George also reveals that he’s quite happy to pay for the horizontal mambo, saying that prostitution is “the most respected profession”. He adds that he happily spends many an hour scouring the net for rent boys that will meet his undoubtedly high standards. “I like gay sex…I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it”, he says. We like it too Boy George, but we’re not sure how much we like you.
Is Ronaldo the new Beckham?
While few would dispute that David Beckham has been the ultimate metrosexual for many a year – influencing men’s fashion like few other male celebrities – he could be in for some competition. And it’s coming right from his line of work – football. Since the World Cup, Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo has become an international sex symbol (have you seen those legs???). And now the 21 year old is becoming quite the metrosexual fashion plate. Spotted recently shopping in Wilmslow in UK the stunner was dressed in fine form indeed – complete with matching man-purse and snakeskin belt. Could Cristiano be the new Becks? You be the judge.
BOY GEORGE. NO WAY! I cannot believe that your gossip monger slated Boy George! That is sacriledge.
No matter what headlines he appears in or how i might sometimes cringe at his behavioural antics -when i was growing up gay (in the very homophobic 80’s) -he was an awesome role model: not to femme queens etc, but to anyone trying to find their pride. Yeah, Madonna’s also cool -but has she ever played Pride (after a while gaypal Rupert Everett disssapeared from the scene when she went maternal!) manipulative material girl?!
Yeah, Boy George has been in trouble/ mad some awful choices (in dress and deed!) but he’s stood up for what he is/ believes in -and that’s a true role model -someone who doesn’t publicise their life for public consumption!
No matter what, I will always respect B.G for his history and effect he has had on my life.
C’mon -Madonna wishes she could write lyrics like the Boy or even have the vocal range!!
I’m climbing off my soapbox now, thanks for the indulgence
Triggerhappy
What are you on?. Personally, I think he’s an embarrassment. He may (arguably) once have been a positive role model, but of late he’s become a caricature of himself. All he does is bitch about other people, wear really bad outfits and he hasn’t creatively produced anything of note in a very long time. Word is he’s working on new material. Let’s see what he comes up with. By the way, vocally he’s certainly not anything to write home about… so you’re on shaky ground there.
