Clonezone, the British-based gay retail chain, has apparently fallen victim to the global economic downturn.
PinkNews.co.uk has reported that the company, which runs ten stores as well as an online store selling gay-related products, has gone into administration.
Clonezone’s products include books, magazines, DVDs, designer underwear and other gay lifestyle items.
The company told the website that it was not prepared to comment to the media at this point.
According to some reports, stores in Leeds, Brighton, Newcastle and Bristol have already closed while the fate of the Soho, London, store is unclear.
